The research activities of the ASTM Group for a project aimed at evaluating the safety of structures and infrastructures made with pre-stressed reinforced concrete.
The technical check will make it possible to execute load bearing tests to destruction on a girder that has been in use since 1965 and made with pre-stressed reinforced steel and post-tension cables from the Southbound Mollere Viaduct of Highway A6 Turin-Savona.
Participation in the day will award three professional development credits for regular members of the Order of Engineers.
