SINA at the Working Table on Road Safety at the Chamber of Deputies
07 October 2025On September 23, 2025, a discussion was held at Palazzo Montecitorio in the Aula della Lupa at the Chamber of Deputies dedicated to finding innovative proposals and solutions to improve safety and mobility in Italy, promoted by the Vice-President of the Chamber, Hon. Fabio Rampelli.
SINA took part in the initiative through Eng. Roberto Arditi. During the meeting, various experts and representatives from institutions and associations contributed with brief speeches, including: ASTRAL, ISTAT, the University of Rome La Sapienza, ACI, the University Federico II, and the Association of Road Victim Families, in addition to the institutional opening remarks by Hon. Deidda and Councillor Ghera.
Mr Arditi, who was also present in his capacity as Chairman of PIARC Italia’s National Technical Committee on Road Safety Policies and Programmes, outlined the contents of the Position Document on Road Safety drawn up by the Committee with the coordination of SINA. This document contains analyses and strategic recommendations for improving traffic safety through targeted interventions in various areas of interest: infrastructure, vehicles, human factors and road operation.
