SINA PRESENT AT TURIN POLYTECHNIC’S SEMINAR ON INFRASTRUCTURE REDEVELOPMENT

Turin – SINA, ASTM Group, will be among the protagonists of the seminar “Innovative Approaches for the Functional Upgrading of Infrastructure Works. Design, Intervention, Management and Control, Maintenance,” to be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Aula 1B of the Polytechnic University of Turin.

The event, organized by the Order of Engineers of the Province of Turin and sponsored by major industry entities such as Consorzio Fabre, ISI-Italian Seismic Engineering and ANCE Turin, will be attended by professionals, technicians, officials from public agencies, road and highway operators and construction companies.

The seminar will focus on infrastructure safety issues, including seismic and structural risk mitigation, monitoring and predictive maintenance, and the use of innovative and sustainable systems for structural reinforcement. Application case studies and real-world interventions will be presented to illustrate cutting-edge design solutions and techniques.

SINA will be speaking with Engineer Giuseppe Pasqualato, Technical Director of the Company, with a paper entitled “Highway Viaduct Maintenance Interventions: from BMS (Bridge Management System) to Interventions.”

Participation in the seminar is free of charge and is valid for the issuance of 5 CFPs for members of the Register of Engineers.

The initiative is an opportunity for technical and scientific updates and discussion on the most effective strategies to ensure the safety, durability and sustainability of the national infrastructure heritage, a topic of primary importance for SINA and the entire ASTM Group.
