Maintenance planning

Maintenance planning

The Managing Authorities/owners of road infrastructures seek to pursue the best maintenance policies aimed at maintaining the works within safety, functionality and usability standards.

SINA, after assessment activities, is able to carry out analysis aimed at maintenance planning and to identify, through LCC (Life Cycle Cost) analysis, the best maintenance strategies to be applied during the life cycle of individual assets.

A maintenance strategy will be defined as a combination of actions, to be performed within certain timeframes, which may include maintenance, re-commissioning, functional improvement, and/or replacement. The optimal timing of each intervention will be based on the condition of the structure and the expected rate of deterioration over the life of the asset.
